Omaha 2-Card Rule
In Omaha, you MUST use exactly 2 cards from your hand and exactly 3 cards from the board to make your best 5-card poker hand. This is different from Hold'em where you can use any combination.
Remember the 2-card rule
You MUST use 2 from your hand + 3 from board. You can't use 1 or 0 hole cards like in Hold'em.
More cards = more variance
PLO5 and PLO6 have much higher variance than PLO. Bankroll requirements are significantly higher.
Equity runs closer
Omaha hands typically have closer equity than Hold'em. Big favorites are rarer, making pot odds even more critical.

PLO5 Pre-Flop Analysis
Scenario: You have Ah-Ks-Qc-Jd-9h in a PLO5 game.
Calculation: Input your five hole cards. The calculator simulates thousands of scenarios and provides a pre-flop equity of 45%.
Result: With 45% equity, consider calling or raising, especially if you anticipate a straight or flush draw.
PLO6 Post-Flop Strategy
Scenario: Your hand: As-Kd-Qs-Jh-10c-9d, Community: 8h-7s-5d.
Calculation: Enter all cards into the calculator. The resulting equity is calculated at 60%.
Result: With 60% equity, a strong position, you should consider betting to maximize your potential win.
